“ Babania kahania putt sputt kren” according to this quote only those communities survives in this world whose followers take care of their History and Heritages for the coming generations. A true history and heritages tell the great work done by their ancesters and become the source of their information.With this view in mind, I, in 1980 joined S. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Federation, ans served our community as General Secretary. In this period we celebrated Birthday of M. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia on 5th May every year. Distributed Literatures us as History Books and Portrates etc. Then a Bronze Statue of Maharaja was installed in a Park at G. T Road, Amritsar.

It reminds the Life and History of M. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia to all visitors. In 1992 an All India S. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Federation was formed and I served as Secretary General in it until 2022. In this period RAMGARHIA GATE, near Gurdwara Baba Deep Singh Shaheed, Amritsar was built as a Heritage Monument since the Orginal Gate was lost in the past Time. This Gate is also now giving its History and Heritage to coming generations.

To continue this work of information of History and Heritages, it was decided to form this RAMGARHIA HERITAGE SOCIETY. This Society will take up fresh projects to move further into the matter. In this regard we are going to take up the work of Renewal of the LAST RESTING PLACE ( SMADH) of M. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia at HARGOBINDPUR, witch is in a precarious postion due to total neglect. One family is living in it for the past many years and using it as residence. Now we have to shift him by arranging a residence place which require monetaty from all our Brothers.

Secondly, we propose to build a RAMGARHIA COMPLEX in the shape of RAMGARH FORT, whitch was built by M. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia in 1748 at Amritsar. Ramgarhia Fort given us the name of Ramgarhia, hence it is necessary to make it a true celebration of 300th Birth of M. Jassa Singh Ramgarhia. In this complex, we should build one SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE for youg generations to help them to learn Industrial work and other professions. A super specialty HOSPITALon the Name of BHAI LALO JI for the treatment of needy brothers and a CULTURAL CENTRE including an AUDOTORIUM, RESERCH AND INFORMATION CENTRE etc. This will fulfill the much required information of our HISTORY AND HERITAGE in the modern way to the coming generations. Hope all my community and brothers will support the above ideas and will help us in achieving the goals.
